2. Module objectives/intended learning outcomes

This course provides students with an overview of the Earth, climate change, development and sustainable development, as well as selected solutions for addressing climate change and advancing the goals of sustainable development.

The course also equips students with fundamental skills in analyzing, synthesizing, organizing, and presenting and communicating information related to relevant scientific and social issues. Through these learning experiences, students are expected to develop an informed awareness and the ability to make appropriate judgments and personal decisions, thereby contributing responsibly through their actions to the protection and sustainability of our shared home, the Earth.
