2. Brief description of the modules
The course is divided into six chapters. Chapter 1 introduces the subject matter, research methods, and functions of Marxist-Leninist political economy. Chapters 2 through 6 delve into the core concepts of Marxist-Leninist political economy, covering topics such as: commodities, markets, and the roles of economic agents in market economies; surplus value production in market economies; competition and monopoly in market economies; socialist-oriented market economy and economic interests in Vietnam; industrialization, modernization, and international economic integration in Vietnam.
