This course helps students grasp the fundamental properties of neutrons, their interactions with matter, nuclear reactions involving neutrons, fission reactions, chain reactions, nuclear energy, and the diffusion and transport of neutrons within materials. The subject also provides students with knowledge of the kinetic theory of homogeneous and heterogeneous nuclear reactors. In addition, the subject also provides soft skills in learning and research activities.
