2. Brief description of the modules
The course provides an understanding of the principles and laws of nuclear physics regarding the energy and interactions of ionizing radiation with matter. Students will gain a solid grasp of the principles of applying ionizing radiation in medical diagnosis and treatment, sterilization, and inducing mutations in biology and agriculture. The course also covers knowledge of nuclear radiation analysis methods and exploration techniques in the industry. Additionally, it equips students with knowledge of energy generation from nuclear reactions for application in nuclear power plants.
