2. Module objectives/intended learning outcomes

This module offers fundamental knowledge about ocean circulation, including the various types of ocean currents and the forces that contribute to their formation. Additionally, it enhances students' understanding of surface and bottom flow theories, as well as the processes of salt and heat transfer within the ocean.
