By studying the interactions between hydrological processes and the environment, students can contribute to sustainable water resources management, ecosystem conservation, and the protection of water quality in various environmental contexts.

Students who complete this module could be achieved the following:

- Knowledge: Be able to understand and apply knowledge the basic concepts in the field of environmental hydrology, the water cycle in nature, the main hydrological models, the basin acidification pattern, water pollution patterns in shallow water and identify physical factors affecting surface runoff.

- Skills: Be able to work in individual, group work, self-study, lifelong learning, and problem solving.

- Competences: Be able to explain the water pollution models and causes of flooding from nature and humans.
