2. Brief course description
Today, with the rapid advance of science and technology, modelling tools appear in every field of society. For long-established fundamental sciences such as Earth Science, using modelling tools to capture, simulate and forecast part of the workings of nature is essential. The course “Applied Hydrodynamic Models in Earth Science” therefore introduces students to modern computational tools for calculating and forecasting the dynamic factors of rivers, seas and oceans, and to tools for meteorology in general and agricultural meteorology in particular.
