2. Module objectives/intended learning outcomes
This module introduces the basic concepts of digital electronic circuits, including: binary numbers, truth tables, and logical algebra. Students learn to test, debug, analyze and design digital circuits including: logic gates, three-state logic, flip-flops, registers, counters, encoders and decoders, multiplexers and de-multiplexers, integrated circuits, analog-to-digital converters and digital-to-analog converters.
