2. Module objectives/intended learning outcomes
This course provides a fundamental understanding of electric and magnetic fields, leading to a comprehension of the associated laws and phenomena of light. Students will learn to understand and apply the laws governing the interactions between electric charges and between electric currents. They will also gain a grasp of the fundamental laws governing electric currents in circuits. The course explains and explores the phenomena of light interference, diffraction, and polarization. Additionally, it equips students with essential problem-solving skills applicable to both scientific and real-world contexts.
