2. Module objectives/intended learning outcomes
This course provides fundamental knowledge in special relativity, fluid mechanics, real gas properties, transport processes in gases, thermal phenomena in liquids, and thermodynamic potentials of gases. Students will gain the ability to apply coordinate, time, velocity, momentum, kinetic energy, and energy transformations in relativistic motion, understand gas liquefaction, and analyze heat and energy transfer processes in gases and liquids. This course also fosters teamwork, meticulous calculations, and logical reasoning skills. It serves as a continuation of General Physics 1 (Mechanics - Thermodynamics).
