2. Brief description of the modules
This course provides students with a comprehensive overview of electronics, including fundamental electronic circuits, electronic components, and integrated circuits (ICs). Students will gain a solid understanding of semiconductor devices such as PN junctions, diodes, bipolar junction transistors (BJTs), and field-effect transistors (FETs). Additionally, the course will equip students with the skills to analyze and design simple electronic circuits, including rectifiers, filters, small-signal amplifiers, power amplifiers, voltage regulators, operational amplifiers, logic circuits, and sinusoidal and square wave oscillators. This course lays a strong foundation for further specialized studies in electronics and prepares students for more advanced courses in subsequent years.
