2. Brief description of the modules
This course provides students with knowledge about the overall structure of a computer as well as its constituent components. How information is organized and stored on a computer, the structure of the central processing unit (CPU), the structure of computer memory (ROM, RAM), and methods of data input and output (bus system, interrupt, I/O port, DMA).
