2. Brief description of the modules

This course introduces the structure, operating principles of MOSFETs and other microelectronic components. In addition, theories on circuit analysis and calculation are presented to students. The course structure includes: semiconductor physics fundamentals, theory of MOSFET structure and operation, MOSFET amplifier circuits such as common source (CS), common gate (CG), CMOS logic circuits and transition point calculations. This course provides students with a foundation for analog and digital IC design courses in subsequent semesters.
