2. Brief description of the modules
The Biomedical Electronics course provides fundamental knowledge about advanced techniques and medical examination methods: X-ray imaging, ultrasound, electrocardiography, magnetic nanoparticle methods, UV LEDs for bacterial disinfection, and silicon nanowire biosensor models. In particular, electronic devices used in disease diagnosis and treatment are explained in detail regarding their operating principles, circuits, and operation. Additionally, students are introduced to other knowledge about advanced treatment methods using energy: laser, radiation, and magnetic fields. However, these contents are presented in the final chapter to enhance knowledge and are especially necessary for students who want to delve deeper or conduct graduation projects in the direction of biomedical electronics or biomedical engineering.
