2. Brief description of the modules
This course provides knowledge related to integrated circuit design. Students will gain a deep understanding of the logical design, physical design, and chip fabrication processes. Students will apply Verilog HDL hardware description language, Quartus II software, and DE1/DE2 boards to design combinational and sequential logic circuits on FPGAs, including full adders, multiplexers and demultiplexers, encoders and decoders, latches, flip-flops, registers and memories, counters, filters, and finite state machines. Students will also design a simple microprocessor consisting of an arithmetic logic unit (ALU) and a control unit
