- Brief description of the modules
This course equips students with knowledge of radiation interactions with matter and the characteristics of various radiation detectors, including gas detectors, scintillation detectors, and semiconductor detectors.
This course covers techniques for detecting gamma radiation, charged particles, and neutrons. It delves into electronic signal processing for counting and spectral analysis, including the use of multi-channel analyzers (MCAs) and coincidence techniques.
