2. Brief description of the modules
This course covers the theory of elastic waves, basic concepts of explosion sources and instrumentation, data acquisition methods and procedures, and data processing and interpretation techniques for reflection, refraction, and surface wave seismic exploration. The knowledge gained from this course enables students to analyze seismic data and extract valuable information about geological targets or environmental issues of interest. This course also builds upon and reinforces knowledge from other specialized courses
