    1. Brief description of the modules

This course covers (i) fundamental concepts of Earth science, including the Earth in the solar system, the formation and evolution of the Earth, gravity and the Earth's shape, gravity anomalies, earthquakes and the Earth's interior structure, Earth's heat and geothermal anomalies, geomagnetism, geoelectricity, and geodynamics; and (ii) geophysical methods.
