2. Brief description of the modules
This course provides students with fundamental knowledge of measurement and measurement instruments, as well as methods to determine measurement errors caused by measuring devices. Students will learn about the construction and operation of DC and AC electrical measuring instruments (voltmeters, ammeters, ohmmeters, capacitance meters, inductance meters, and power meters); transducers and signal conditioning circuits (converting mechanical, thermal, optical, etc. quantities into voltage, current, etc.); and the design of basic measurement circuits and signal processing circuits (voltmeter circuits, bridge circuits, and amplification circuits in measurement).
