- Brief course description:
This course gives students the basics of measurement and measuring instruments and of determining the measurement error introduced by an instrument. Students learn the construction and operation of DC and AC measuring instruments (for voltage, current, resistance, capacitance, inductance and power), and acquire the knowledge and practical skills related to Hall measurement, the four-point probe method, null ellipsometry, optical-microscope inspection and other modern inspection methods.
