This course equips students with the fundamentals of logic design, the families of programmable logic devices and the Verilog HDL hardware description language. On completion, students should master techniques for designing complex digital circuits using programmable logic devices (FPGA, CPLD) and be able to analyse, design and build a reasonably complete hardware system.
