- Brief course description:
The course has four main parts, covering both theory and practice:
Theory: students acquire a full grounding in nanomaterials for SERS sensor applications, in molecular spectroscopy — Raman and infrared — and in spectral processing.
Practice: students develop practical skills in fabricating semiconductor nanomaterials for SERS and in measuring and processing Raman spectra.
This course belongs to the curriculum on the fabrication of semiconductor nanomaterials and their applications. The theory is taught to the whole class, while practical work is done in groups.
