The general objective of the program is to equip students with interdisciplinary knowledge in Physics, Chemistry, Materials, Electronics, and Computer Science, as well as the necessary skills to apply them in practice in the field of semiconductor chip design, solve interdisciplinary scientific problems, innovate, and integrate internationally.

The Bachelor of Semiconductor Technology program is designed with the following core directions:

Modeling and test packaging technology: students will enhance their knowledge of semiconductor electronic component modeling using specialized software to deepen their understanding of the structure and properties of semiconductor materials, thereby developing and optimizing them. Techniques include component optimization and semiconductor manufacturing process simulation, techniques such as circuit analysis, and automated test design. Semiconductor chip testing, packaging technologies using various methods.

For Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology: students are equipped with knowledge of thin film technology and nano materials; semiconductor chip manufacturing technologies in clean rooms; energy conversion material technology; semiconductor optoelectronics; sensor manufacturing technology, LED, etc.

And not to mention the field of Integrated Circuit Technology Development: students are proficient in using hardware description languages, design tools, and semiconductor chip design software; skills in semiconductor chip design, skills in analyzing electronic system.

In terms of Semiconductor Technology application: students are equipped with knowledge to manufacture common semiconductor component products such as diodes, transistors, sensors, solar energy batteries, etc. You can apply knowledge in computer science, electronic circuits to build embedded systems and IoT in measurement and control applications.
