The Nuclear Engineering major was established in 2011.

The program educates bachelor’s with expertise in the field of nuclear engineering, experimental nuclear physics, and applications of nuclear engineering in research, teaching, production, business, and other areas.

Bachelor of Nuclear Engineering can thoroughly research and solve problems in non-destructive testing, support medical personnels in diagnostic imaging, prepare nuclear-based treatment plan, assist businesses that utilize radiation technology. They apply modern physics knowledge to science and daily life, have the ability to access, research, and use the most advanced and modern equipment.

Nuclear Engineering students conduct in-depth theoretical and practical research, on nuclear subjects such as nuclear structure and reactions. They also explore the applications of nuclear technology in agriculture, industry, and various economic-technical fields, including meteorology, hydrology, geology, minerals, and environmental protection.
