2. Module objectives/intended learning outcomes

The Control Systems course provides students with fundamental knowledge of the analysis and design of linear automatic control systems, including system modeling, stability analysis, system response, controller design, and modern control using the state-space approach.

The course enables students to understand the operating principles of closed-loop control systems and to use MATLAB for system simulation, analysis, and optimization. It is a core course in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Automation, and Mechatronics, providing an essential foundation for subsequent courses such as Digital Control, Intelligent Control, Nonlinear Control, Industrial Robotics, and Process Automation.
