2. Module objectives/intended learning outcomes
This course provides students with fundamental knowledge and practical applications of CMOS technology in analog integrated circuit design. The course covers device modeling, fundamental circuits such as current mirrors, amplifiers, and operational amplifiers (Op-Amps), as well as biasing circuits, oscillators, and analog-to-digital converters (ADCs).
Students gain hands-on experience in designing, simulating, and evaluating analog circuits using specialized electronic design automation (EDA) tools.
