IEEE NPSS SCHOOL ON NUCLEAR POWER FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT 2026

The IEEE NPSS School on Nuclear Power for Sustainable Development will take place from 7 to 11 September 2026 at the University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City.

Jointly organized by the IEEE Nuclear and Plasma Sciences Society (IEEE NPSS) and VNUHCM–University of Science, the School is designed for undergraduate students, master’s students, young scientists, and early-career professionals in nuclear engineering and related fields.

Combining lectures with practical exercises, the programme will focus on three main areas:

• Foundations of nuclear power and sustainability

• Advanced reactor technologies and nuclear safety

• Non-electric applications of nuclear energy

The School will also provide opportunities for participants to exchange knowledge and engage with international lecturers and experts.
