The Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics recently organized a series of bachelor’s thesis defense sessions for students enrolled in the Physics – Standard Program, covering a diverse range of specializations, including Theoretical Physics, Nuclear Physics, Computational Physics, Electronic Physics, Solid-State Physics, and Applied Physics.
Before the academic defense committees, students presented the findings of research projects undertaken throughout their undergraduate studies. Their presentations demonstrated their ability to apply disciplinary knowledge, develop analytical and critical thinking, and employ scientific research methodologies to address specific research questions and challenges within their respective projects.
With a strong commitment to academic rigor and professional standards, the defense committees conducted comprehensive and objective evaluations of the theses. In addition to assessing the quality and relevance of the research, committee members provided constructive and in-depth academic feedback, enabling students to gain a clearer understanding of the contributions of their work and identify potential directions for further development.
Having prepared thoroughly and demonstrated confidence in both their presentations and responses to questions from the committees, the students successfully completed their thesis defenses.
