The AUN Summer Camp 2026, titled Asian Undergraduate Symposium 2026, is organized as part of the AUN Summer Camp 2026 program of the ASEAN University Network (AUN).
Detailed information is as follows:
1. Duration: From June 5, 2026 to June 18, 2026.
2. Venue: National University of Singapore (NUS), Singapore.
3. Theme: Communities in Action.

5. Number of Participants: 02 students.
6. Student Selection Criteria:
- Applicants must be full-time undergraduate students currently enrolled at member or affiliated institutions of Vietnam National University – Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).
- Have good academic performance, with priority given to students with notable academic achievements.
- Possess good English proficiency.
- Demonstrate the ability to collaborate with students from diverse cultural backgrounds; preference will be given to students with experience in extracurricular activities and cultural exchange, particularly activities related to ASEAN.
- Show leadership potential, teamwork skills, and strong communication abilities; preference will be given to students with achievements or certifications in extracurricular activities.
- Commit to participating fully in the entire program.
- Must not have previously participated in the Asian Undergraduate Symposium (e.g., students who participated in AUN Summer Camp 2025 – NUS, titled Asian Undergraduate Symposium 2025, are not eligible to apply).
7. Expenses:
- The organizing committee will cover the costs of accommodation, selected meals, and certain program-related expenses within the framework of the program.
- The student’s home institution will cover the following expenses for participating students:
+ Airfare: Up to VND 5,000,000 per student.
+ Insurance: Up to VND 500,000 per student.
- Participating students are responsible for any remaining airfare costs, remaining insurance costs, and other related expenses.
8. Application Documents:
- Student information form (attached template).
- Certified copy of passport (the passport must be valid for at least six months from the program start date).
- Academic transcripts in Vietnamese and English, certified by the home institution.
- Proof of English language proficiency.
- Evidence of leadership experience, extracurricular activities, and cultural exchange participation (if any).
- Evidence of academic achievements (if any).
- Letter of recommendation from the Faculty/Supervisor/Lecturer.
9. Application Procedure:
Step 1: Students submit the hard-copy application dossier to the Office of External Relations (Room F.105, 227 Nguyen Van Cu Street) and simultaneously send the soft-copy dossier via email to internationalrelations@hcmus.edu.vn by 12:00 PM on March 16, 2026.
Step 2: The Office of External Relations will submit nominations to VNU-HCM.
Step 3: VNU-HCM will review the applications and nominate the most suitable candidates in accordance with the program’s eligibility requirements to NUS.
Step 4: VNU-HCM will announce the nomination results to the respective units with nominated students. Nominated students must complete the registration procedures according to the instructions of their home institution before March 20, 2026.
Step 5: Nominated students will follow the subsequent procedures according to the instructions provided by NUS.
