DISCOVERNUS PROGRAM OF NATIONAL UNIVERSITY OF SINGAPORE (NUS)
The program offers students from NUS partner universities in Southeast Asia the chance to study at NUS for one semester. Students participating in the program at NUS will be exempt from tuition fees. Upon completion of the program, students have the opportunity to apply for the NUS ASEAN Master's Scholarship Program. Here are the details:
1. Time: 01 semester, from January 2025 to May 2025.
2. Number: 02 students.
3. Location: NUS, Singapore.
4. Benefits:
- Students are exempted from tuition fees for the study program at NUS and are partially supported with accommodation costs depending on the student's family situation (detailed information on proving family circumstances will be provided directly by NUS to students). selected students). Students pay other costs themselves.
- Students after participating in the DiscoverNUS program, in their final year of bachelor's degree, can apply for a 1-year master's scholarship program at NUS - NUS ASEAN Master's Scholarship Program.
5. Admission conditions:
- Currently a 3rd or 4th year student during the exchange period at NUS, 3rd year students are preferred.
- Have a major that matches the major registered to study at NUS.
- Have excellent academic achievements in high school and university.
- Actively participate in extracurricular activities and serve the community.
- Has leadership potential.
- Priority is given to have good English proficiency (English certificate IELTS 6.0 or higher or TOEFL iBT 85 or higher).
- Are interested in pursuing a master's program at NUS after participating in the DiscoverNUS program.
- Commit to fully participating in the program.

- Before submitting the application, students are required to carefully study the following information to determine their suitability for the program:

DiscoverNUS program students are considered non-graduating, non-exchange students at NUS.
- Students who complete the program can request NUS to provide a copy of their course transcript.
- For students receiving the NUS ASEAN Master's Scholarship Program, students cannot simultaneously receive any other scholarships, grants, grants, or awards without notifying NUS. In case a student receiving a scholarship decides to withdraw from the program or terminate the scholarship, NUS has the right to request the student to refund the entire scholarship amount granted to the student.
7. Application documents:
- 01 English curriculum vitae (CV) in pdf file with capacity less than 3MB, fully presenting the following information:
- Education level includes name of high school with average score; University name with current GPA.
- Experience working, leading, volunteering.
- Extracurricular activities (clubs, sports activities,...).
- Academic awards or scholarships at high school or university (if any).
- English proficiency (eg TOEFL, IELTS).
- Other necessary information such as: foreign languages, special talents,... (if any).

- 01 student information form (attached form).
- 01 latest Vietnamese transcript within 30 days until August 20, 2024, confirmed by the training unit.
- 01 copy of passport personal information page (no notarization required).
- 01 copy of English proficiency certificate (no notarization required).
- Evidence of extracurricular activities and community service.
- Certificates of merit and certificates of merit for academic achievements (if any).
8. Application process:
i. Students submit paper documents to P.QHDN until 5:00 p.m. on August 16, 2024, and also send soft copies via email: internationalrelations@hcmus.edu.vn
ii. University of Natural Sciences nominates students to VNU-HCM.
iii.. VNU-HCM reviews applications and nominates students to NUS.
iv. VNU-HCM announces the results to the units after receiving the results from NUS.
v. Students selected to participate in the program complete the registration application and select subjects at the link: https://myapplications.nus.edu.sg.
vi. Students receive an official admission letter from NUS and register for accommodation and visas for international students.
vii. Students come to NUS, activate their student card and join the program in January 2025.
