The Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics is pleased to announce the PhD recruitment under the NEXUS Program of The University of Tokyo, exclusively for Vietnamese citizens who wish to pursue research in semiconductors and related fields. 1. Program Information
- Duration: 3-year PhD program, with expected enrollment in October 2026.
- Research fields: Advanced MOSFET, Cryogenic CMOS, 3D Integration; Spintronic Materials & Devices, Memory/Neuromorphic Devices; 2D Materials; Bio-Electronics; Power Semiconductors; Thermal Management & Chip Cooling; Energy-Harvesting Devices; Flexible/Organic Electronics; Silicon Photonics & Opto-Electronics; VLSI Design, etc.

2. Main Eligibility Criteria
- Vietnamese nationality; strong academic background in semiconductors or related fields;
- Outstanding academic record (GPA ≥ 3.0/4.0 at both undergraduate and graduate levels);
- Good command of English (with TOEFL/IELTS and GRE General obtained before January 2026);
- Solid research achievements.
