On September 22, 2026, students from the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics, University of Science, VNU-HCM participated in a Company Tour at Renesas Vietnam. The visit provided students with an opportunity to gain first-hand exposure to the professional working environment of a technology company and to learn more about the practical requirements of the semiconductor and integrated circuit (IC) design industries.
Discovering Renesas and the Semiconductor Industry
During the visit, students were introduced to Renesas’ operations, areas of expertise, and professional working environment. The session provided broader insights into career opportunities across the growing fields of semiconductor technology, integrated circuit (IC) design, and electronics engineering.
The discussions also helped students better understand the connection between the knowledge and competencies developed through their academic programs and the technical requirements of the industry.
Experiencing a Professional Working Environment
The Company Tour gave students an opportunity to explore the workplace, learn about corporate culture, and gain insights into how engineers and technical professionals collaborate in a professional setting. This first-hand experience enabled students to develop a clearer understanding of potential career environments, professional practices, and the expectations placed on technical professionals after graduation.
