On the morning of October 11, the University of Natural Sciences, VNU-HCM (HCMUS) welcomed a delegation from National Central University, Taiwan (NCU) to promote international cooperation and academic exchange at home and abroad.
During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Luong Hong Phuoc, Head of the Department of Oceanography, Meteorology and Hydrology of the Faculty of Physics - Engineering Physics, introduced the Department and its research cooperation activities. Additionally, Prof. Chien Hwa from NCU shared the latest developments and application techniques in Taiwan's coastal radar network, as well as experiences gained from offshore wind farm projects. The similarities in majors and research areas promise to create a solid foundation for closer links in the fields of science and research between the two sides.
The exchange was successful and left good impressions on the participants. Hopefully, both sides will soon promote exchange activities and design many new learning programs in the near future so that students from both schools can connect more and expand their knowledge.
