Real-World Experience Journey at the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics with Nguyen An Ninh High School students

On the morning of April 19, 2025, over 150 students from Nguyen An Ninh High School participated in a practical experience program organized by the Faculty of Physics & Engineering Physics and the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology at the University of Science, Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCMUS). This initiative aimed to bridge the gap between secondary education and the university environment, providing students with a tangible perspective on the fields of Physics and Engineering Physics.

The program commenced with an overview of both faculties, highlighting their primary research directions and career opportunities within these disciplines. Subsequently, students toured the modern laboratories of the faculties, where they directly observed and engaged with various equipment, gaining insights into the practical applications of theoretical knowledge.

Beyond connecting theoretical concepts to real-world applications, the program also fostered analytical thinking, teamwork, and creativity among the students. Additionally, it offered them the chance to interact with university lecturers, aiding in clearer academic and career orientation for their futures.

This hands-on experience at VNU-HCMUS provided Nguyen An Ninh High School students with valuable exposure, opening new perspectives on their educational and professional pathways. The Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics looks forward to continuing collaborations with high schools in similar activities, aiming to inspire a passion for science among the younger generation.
