In accordance with Official Dispatch No. 269/KHTN-TCHC regarding the organization of the Conference of Delegates of Civil Servants and Employees, as well as the review of emulation and reward titles for 2024 at the University of Natural Sciences, VNU-HCM, the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics held the Conference of Civil Servants and Employees on November 28, 2023.
This conference is a significant opportunity for civil servants and employees within the faculty to voice their thoughts and aspirations, as well as those of the department. It included a summary report on the faculty's performance for the 2023-2024 academic year and allowed attendees to contribute ideas for future activities in 2024-2025. The goal is to foster a sense of ownership among employees and to help build a clean, strong, and culturally enriched agency.
Attendees included MSc. Le Thi Nga, Head of the Equipment Management Department; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Van Man, Head of the Science and Technology Department; MSc. Nguyen Thi Kim Chi, Deputy Head of the Administrative Organization Department; Dr. Vo Hong Hai, Deputy Head of the External Relations Department; along with over 70 officers and employees from the department. Given the importance of the conference, all participants demonstrated seriousness and high concentration throughout the event.
To facilitate the program, the conference elected a Presidium consisting of three members: Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Tuan, Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics; Dr. Dang Hoai Trung, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics; and MSc. Nguyen Thi Huyen Nga, Chairwoman of the Physics - Engineering Physics Department Union. The Presidium also appointed two secretaries for the conference: Dr. Van Thi Thu Trang and MSc. Tran Kim Chi.
On behalf of the Presidium, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Huynh Van Tuan presented the summary report for 2023 along with the proposed direction and tasks for the upcoming 2024 academic year. The conference also included a report on Trade Union activities presented by MSc. Nguyen Thi Huyen Nga. Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to ask questions, which were addressed by the leaders of various departments and the faculty.
Finally, the conference approved the list of delegates representing civil servants and employees who will attend the upcoming school-wide conference of delegates on December 27, 2024.
