Conference of Faculty Staff and Employees of the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics, 2025

On the afternoon of November 24, the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics, University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, solemnly held the 2025 Conference of Faculty Staff and Employees. The event was attended by representatives of the University’s administrative units, the Faculty Board, and all staff and employees. This annual conference serves as an important occasion for the University and the Faculty to review achievements of the past year, discuss existing challenges, and establish directions for the upcoming phase.

In a serious and democratic working atmosphere, delegates contributed numerous constructive opinions across key areas of the Faculty’s operations, including training activities, scientific research, organizational management, facilities, and the working environment. Several contributions emphasized the need to update academic programs, strengthen student support activities, enhance the effectiveness of research groups, and improve coordination capacity in implementing research tasks and professional duties.

Delegates also discussed the challenges arising from the ongoing transformation in higher education and the rapid development of science and technology. From this, many solutions were proposed to improve teaching quality, promote research collaboration, and adopt technological tools in management, instruction, and laboratory operations. The openness, constructive spirit, and sense of responsibility demonstrated by staff and employees contributed to generating diverse and practical perspectives for the Faculty’s development strategy.

The Faculty Board acknowledged and highly appreciated the continuous efforts and dedication of the staff and employees throughout the academic year. The Faculty leadership emphasized that in order to maintain and further enhance the quality of training and scientific reputation, each member must continue to uphold solidarity, foster innovation, work proactively, and collaborate closely to fulfill collective responsibilities.

Representatives of the University’s administrative departments also expressed appreciation for the Faculty’s practical contributions. These valuable insights provide an important basis for the University to improve management processes and better support lecturers and staff in their academic and professional activities.

The conference concluded in a spirit of unity, consensus, and strong determination. The orientations and solutions adopted during the event will serve as a foundation for the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics to continue advancing its mission, fostering innovation, and successfully completing the objectives and tasks for the 2025–2026 academic year, thereby contributing to the overall development of the University of Science, VNU-HCM.
