On May 23, 2026, the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics, University of Science, VNUHCM-US, in collaboration with Cake Global, successfully organized the Semiconductor Career Fair 2026. The event attracted a large number of students interested in exploring development trends and career opportunities in the semiconductor technology industry.
The program featured a wide range of activities, including specialized seminars, corporate exhibition booths, and recruitment consulting sessions, creating a valuable platform for students to connect with enterprises, industry experts, and recruiters in the high-tech sector.
During the seminar sessions, students had the opportunity to listen to experts and company representatives sharing insights into the development trends of the semiconductor industry, workforce demands in the new era, and the knowledge, skills, and professional competencies required for high-quality human resources. Practical perspectives from industry partners provided students with a more comprehensive understanding of the working environment, career prospects, and professional development pathways within the semiconductor field.
In addition, the corporate exhibition area was vibrant with interactive activities, career counseling sessions, and recruitment networking opportunities. Students were able to directly engage with recruitment specialists, explore internship and employment opportunities, and gain deeper insights into the workforce needs of companies operating in the semiconductor, electronics, and technology sectors.
Notably, the CV Review activity attracted significant attention as students received direct feedback from experts on resume preparation, experience presentation, personal competency development, and essential preparations for professional working environments in the high-tech industry.
Through the program, students not only expanded their professional networks while still at university but also enhanced their understanding of semiconductor industry trends, updated themselves on practical industry requirements, and gained clearer orientations for their future career pathways.
