On the afternoon of May 16, 2026, at Lecture Hall 1, University of Science, Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City (Campus 1), the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics organized a final civic engagement program for all students of Cohort 2022. The program was designed to support students in preparing the academic knowledge, career orientation, and essential skills needed before entering the graduation stage and integrating into a professional working environment.
The program commenced with a presentation by Associate Professor Dr. Tran Thien Thanh, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics, on the topic “Introduction to Advanced Study and Research Opportunities.” The session focused on postgraduate study orientations, opportunities to participate in scientific research, and academic development pathways both domestically and internationally for graduates. The presentation provided students with a clearer perspective on their future academic and professional development.
Continuing the program, Mr. Le Huynh Lan, Chief Executive Officer of Mantis Vietnam Group Joint Stock Company, delivered a talk entitled “Career Orientation and Motivation After Graduation.” Drawing from extensive experience in both domestic and international working environments, as well as in the private and public sectors, the speaker shared practical insights into adaptability, personal development, and career planning in the context of an ever-evolving labor market.
Concluding the program, Mr. Nguyen Duy Khang, Chief Technology Officer of VIETMAP Technology and Environment Application Joint Stock Company, presented the topic “Career Orientation and Corporate Integration Skills.” The session offered practical guidance on CV writing, interview skills, personal branding, and common challenges students often encounter when transitioning from university life to a professional workplace.
Through the insightful presentations delivered by faculty members and industry representatives, the program provided valuable information and practical perspectives, helping Cohort 2022 students gain a clearer understanding of their academic and career pathways while enhancing their proactiveness in preparing for future professional development after graduation.
