On July 19–20, 2025, the Department of Nuclear Physics – Nuclear Engineering – Medical Physics, Faculty of Physics and Engineering Physics, University of Science – VNU-HCM, successfully organized the thesis defense ceremony for students of the 2021 cohort in three academic programs: Medical Physics, Nuclear Engineering, and Physics – Nuclear Physics Major.
During the defense sessions, students presented well-prepared research projects that ranged from the application of nuclear energy in industry, agriculture, and environmental fields to simulation models of nuclear systems, radiation dose measurement, and radiotherapy planning in the medical sector. Each presentation demonstrated not only strong academic competence but also the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems with high relevance and applicability.
The event took place in a formal yet encouraging academic atmosphere, providing students with an opportunity to reflect on their academic journey and marking a memorable milestone before advancing toward further academic or professional endeavors.
