Scholarship and Training Opportunities from the Vietnam Physical Society (VPS)

To support and encourage the young generation in the field of Physics, the Vietnam Physical Society (VPS) is pleased to introduce a selection of prestigious scholarship, training, and research collaboration programs for students, graduate learners, and early-career researchers in Vietnam and abroad.

1. PhD Admission in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics – Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST), Vietnam Academy of Science and Technology (VAST)

The Graduate University of Science and Technology (GUST) announces its 2025 PhD admission in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics.

Doctoral candidates will work at the Center for Theoretical Physics (CTP) under the Institute of Physics, with the flexibility to choose their research direction and supervisors (who are not necessarily members of CTP). Candidates will also have the opportunity to participate directly in ongoing research projects and scientific programs at the Center.

- Application period: September 22, 2025 – November 6, 2025

2. TWAS–SISSA–Lincei Research Cooperation Visits Programme (Italy)

This program invites young scientists from developing countries holding a Master’s degree or higher to participate in three-month research visits at laboratories in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region of Italy. Participants will engage in collaborative research projects and/or training internships in fields aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

- Application deadline: October 15, 2025
