The Quantum Talk online seminar series is organized to provide an academic platform that connects speakers with students, researchers, and professionals working in the field of Quantum Science and Technology. The series aims to foster knowledge exchange, introduce current advancements, and promote collaboration within the quantum research community.

During the seminar, Dr. Friedhoff will present two key topics:
1. Status of Quantum Computing: An overview of the current development of quantum computing, with a focus on progress in the United States and at IBM.
2. Quantum Simulation and Implementation: An introduction to quantum simulation and practical approaches to implementing quantum algorithms on quantum hardware.
