Recap of the 2025–2026 academic year kick-off meeting

The new academic year has officially begun, and as tradition continues, the University Scientific Astronomy Club (USAC) warmly welcomed its newest members - enthusiastic students who have just joined our community of science and astronomy explorers.

During the kick-off meeting, members revisited the foundational presentation “USAC Overview,” delivered by Mr. Vo Nguyen Nhat Minh, the club’s academic advisor. His talk not only reviewed the club’s history and development but also highlighted the scientific spirit, passion, and aspiration for discovery that USAC has consistently upheld over the years.

The program continued with introductions from USAC’s specialized departments. Representatives from each division shared insights into their structures, key activities, and development orientations. These presentations offered a behind-the-scenes look at how knowledge, creativity, and initiative come together to shape the club’s academic projects and practical experiences.

The atmosphere grew even more vibrant as both new and returning members took turns introducing themselves. From the initial moments of shyness to the growing sense of connection - across both in-person and online participation - everyone contributed to a warm, energetic, and welcoming environment.

Although the meeting has concluded, it marks the beginning of a dynamic and inspiring new journey. The enthusiasm, laughter, and positive energy shared during the session promise a year filled with meaningful activities and dedicated learning.

We extend our warmest welcome to all new USAC members. May this academic year be one of growth, curiosity, and exploration as we continue our mission to discover and share the wonders of the universe.
