To provide students with broader opportunities for academic development, research engagement, and international learning experiences, the University is pleased to announce the Spring 2027 Exchange Program at Kyushu University, Japan.
This program offers students the opportunity to study and conduct research in an advanced academic environment, and is open to both undergraduate and graduate students through the following programs:
- Undergraduate and Graduate Programs
- Japan in Today’s World (JTW)

1. Application Documents
Applicants are required to prepare the following documents:
- Academic transcript (preference will be given to applicants with GPA presented on a 4.0 scale);
- Letter of recommendation with handwritten or electronic signature;
- Scanned copy of passport;
- Study plan;
- Research plan (for applicants applying for research-based programs);
- Scanned copy of Bachelor’s/Master’s degree certificate (for postgraduate applicants);
- Language proficiency certificate;
- Essay entitled “Why JTW for Me and My Goals” (for JTW applicants);
- Independent research project proposal (optional);
- Advanced laboratory research project proposal (optional);

2. Application Procedure
Applicants are required to submit soft copies of their application documents to the Office of External Relations no later than September 15, 2026.
Once nomination results are announced, nominated applicants must complete the online application by October 15, 2026. Please note that after submission, applicants will not be able to edit their information independently. Any revisions must be made by contacting Kyushu University directly.
