The company currently has a recruitment strategy geared towards our Department of Physics - Physical Engineering. HERE ARE THE TWO POSITIONS OF THE COMPANY WHO ARE RECRUITMENT, STUDENTS WANTING TO APPLY UNDER THE SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS BELOW:
1. Data processors
Fairfield Vietnam is a Joint venture company between Petro Vietnam and Fairfield Industries Corp (USA).
Field of activities is Seismic Data Processing.
We are recruiting for the position as Data Processors.
Required Skills:
University degree in the field of Physics or other suitable technical field.
Understanding of the elastic wave equation and digital signal processing.
Demonstrate understanding of practical applications of basic geophysical principles.
Basic understanding of spoken and written English language (preferably level C or higher).
Demonstrate abilities to use Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint programs.
Demonstrate ability to use basic Unix/Linux level commands on company processing system.

2. Software developers/Programmers.

We are recruiting for the position as Software developers/Programmers.
Required Skills:
University degree in Computer Science, Mathematical/Physical or related field.
Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
Be able to communicate in spoken and written English language.
Be able to use Microsoft word and Excel programs.
Graphic User Interface Programming for LINUX.
Knowledge of C/C++, Java, Python, computing of numerical methods and data processing.
