The information about the 21st Annual AmCham Scholarship Program
Over the past 23 years, the AmCham Scholarship Program has continuously worked to promote trade between Vietnam and the United States by identifying high-quality human resources for member companies. Simultaneously, it equips Vietnamese students with essential skills before entering the professional work environment. From 2001 to 2023, the program has awarded a total of 995 scholarships to students from 18 universities in Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong.
In 2023, the program plans to grant approximately 60 scholarships, each valued at 15,000,000 VND, to students from 19 universities, including: University of Economics and Law, University of Social Sciences and Humanities, University of Sciences, University of Technology, University of Information Technology, International University, School of Medicine - National University Ho Chi Minh City, Hoa Sen University, University of Technical Education, Foreign Trade University - HCMC Branch 2, University of Law - HCMC, Banking University, Eastern International University, University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam - Germany University, Ton Duc Thang University, University of Finance-Marketing, Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH), and FPT University - HCMC
ELIGIBILITY:
- Students in their final 2 years (from year 5 onwards for the Faculty of Medicine - National University; from year 3 onwards for other faculties), enrolled in the regular undergraduate program, academic year 2022-2023.
- Cumulative GPA at the time of application should be 7.0 or above (on a 10-point scale) or 3.0 or above (on a 4.0-point scale).
- Active extracurricular involvement and a clear career orientation.
- Good English communication skills.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND SELECTION PROCESS:
- Online application phase (April 17, 2023 – May 10, 2023)

- Competency test (May 20, 2023 – May 26, 2023)
Applicants who pass the initial phase will undergo a competency test in calculation and reasoning.
- Interview (June 3, 2023)
Applicants who pass the competency test will be interviewed (mandatory in English) by HR experts from leading companies operating in Vietnam.
