Connect for mutual development

Nowadays, the connection between the university, departments, and businesses is a crucial link in ensuring and enhancing the quality of student training with the goal of producing high-quality human resources to serve labor demand and the community.

Under the university's direction, the Faculty of Physics - Engineering Physics organized the "Business Dialogue Day - 2022" on Friday, November 11, 2022, at the University of Natural Sciences, Nguyen Van Cu Campus. The event was honored to welcome more than 50 businesses, including partners, companies employing human resources trained by the faculty, and companies established by the faculty's alumni. The participants from the faculty included the faculty's leadership, heads of departments, faculty members, alumni, and current students.

The purpose of the "Business Dialogue Day - 2022" was to organize connecting activities, step by step establishing sustainable relationships between the faculty and businesses with the following objectives:

• Gather feedback on the faculty's training programs and teaching activities from businesses.
• Seek collaborative research projects between faculty members, researchers, and businesses.
• Provide opportunities for faculty students to access job information, career guidance, and opportunities for internships at businesses.
• Build and promote the faculty's training programs.

Some key discussions during the Business Dialogue Day, where businesses provided input to improve the quality of the faculty's trained workforce, included:

• Additional training in currently popular programming languages.
• Emphasis on improving students' soft skills in the era of Industry 4.0.
• Strengthening collaboration between the faculty and businesses through short-term internships.
• Improving language proficiency for students.
• Adding elective courses related to entrepreneurship and innovation.

With the spirit of connecting for mutual development, the Business Dialogue Day - 2022 of the Faculty of Physics - Engineering Physics was successfully held. The event served as a platform to gather input from various stakeholders, including educational and business entities, alumni, and current students, aiming to develop sustainable relationships between the faculty and businesses.
