The Ministry of Education and Training (MOET) announces the enrollment for the 2025 Study Abroad Scholarship Program under the Agreement between the Governments of Vietnam and Laos. This scholarship program aims to support students in pursuing undergraduate, master's, and Lao language training programs in Laos.

1. General Information

- Number of Scholarships: 60

- Levels of Study:

+ Undergraduate: 5 years (including 1 year of Lao language preparatory course)

+ Master’s: 3 years (including 1 year of Lao language preparatory course)

+ Lao Language Training: 1 - 2 years

- Benefits:

+ The Lao government provides scholarships covering tuition fees, dormitory accommodation, and other support as per regulations.

+ The Vietnamese government supports monthly living allowances, travel expenses, and health insurance.

2. Eligibility and Application Requirements

- General Requirements: Applicants must have good moral character, be in good health, and commit to returning to serve in Vietnam upon completing their studies.

- Undergraduate Program:

+ High school graduates or students expecting to graduate in 2025 with an average GPA of at least 6.5 over three years.

+ First-year students enrolled in full-time undergraduate programs in Vietnam with a GPA of at least 6.5.

+ Government employees with at least 12 months of service.

- Master’s Program:

+ University graduates with a minimum GPA of "Good" (Khá) or higher, under 35 years old.

+ Government employees with at least 12 months of service, under 40 years old.

- Lao Language Training: Government employees with at least two years of service.
