On May 25, the University of Science – VNU-HCM successfully organized the 2025 Student – Enterprise Day, welcoming 33 outstanding enterprises and a large number of students from within and beyond the university. The event served not only as a dynamic bridge between students and potential employers but also as a platform to celebrate innovation – a vital element in today’s era of scientific and technological advancement.
As part of the program, the “Startup Ideas – Creative Products” exhibition zone showcased impressive models, devices, and technological products developed by student groups, academic clubs, and research teams. Representing the Faculty of Physics – Engineering Physics, the USAC Astronomy Club proudly contributed to the exhibition with two notable innovations: a telescope and a sky quality meter (SQM).
- The Telescope: Referred to as a "window to the night sky", the idea behind this project was to bring astronomy closer to students and young science enthusiasts. More than just a tool for observation, the telescope serves as a source of inspiration, igniting scientific curiosity and a passion for discovery.
- The Sky Quality Meter (SQM): Demonstrating a novel approach to observational astronomy, this device measures the brightness of the night sky—an essential factor in determining optimal viewing conditions. It reflects the practical application of scientific knowledge to real-world challenges in astronomy.
USAC’s participation in the event not only highlighted the creativity of young scientists but also affirmed the important role of academic clubs in promoting innovation and disseminating scientific knowledge among the student community.
USAC extends its sincere thanks to all lecturers, enterprise representatives, and students who visited and supported our booth. We firmly believe that with passion, creativity, and a commitment to continuous learning, every student can discover their own “constellation” to explore and pursue on their academic and professional journey.
