2. Objectives of the training program:
2.1. General objective:
Training Ph.D. in Engineering Physics with high professional qualifications, capable of independent research and leading research teams; have the ability to approach and solve specialized problems; Able to present and express scientific content well with skills to develop international cooperation in the field; Able to write prestigious international articles. In addition, you can participate in undergraduate and postgraduate training programs.
2.2 Detail objectives:
After completing the Ph.D. in Engineering Physics, learners can:
- Able to discover, find solutions and solve scientific problems in the field of Engineering Physics including: Physics, Physical Education, Engineering Physics, Information Technology, Informatics, Optics and Optoelectronics, Materials Science, Nanomaterials, Semiconductor Manufacturing Technology.
- Ability to independently research, propose and apply technological solutions in the field of research.
- Ability to build and develop a research team in the field of Engineering Physics.
- Professional ability to present and present research content (in the form of scientific articles, conference reports, undergraduate and postgraduate teaching).

- Have independent research skills, self-planning and completing specific research work in the field of Engineering Physics.

6. Graduation conditions:
The PhD student has published at least 02 scientific articles(*) on the content and research results of the thesis, including 01 article published in a scientific journal on the list of ISI/Scopus journals or has published at least 02 reports in prestigious international conference proceedings, with reviewers, published in foreign languages or 02 articles published in prestigious foreign scientific journals, with reviewers.
(*) Scientific paper:
- Before defending a master's thesis, students must be the main author (first name in the author group authors) of a scientific article publishing the content or part of the research content of the thesis. The article must be published or accepted for publication in scientific journals and proceedings that are graded on the list prescribed by the State Council of Professor Title.
- The name of the University of Science, the name of VNU-HCM must be written in the student's name in scientific papers, the presentation is as follows:
