Image processing is a sub-sector of digital signal processing with image processing signals. This is a new scientific sub-branch that has developed in recent years. Image processing consists of four main areas: advanced image processing, image recognition, image compression, and image queries. The development of image processing has brought many benefits to human life. Especially, medical image processing using deep learning has a big contribution for the early detection, diagnosis, treatment and follow-up of diseases. Deep learning provides a robust and accuracy medical image interpretation tool while reducing the time spent by medical experts in some clinical procedures. Precise segmentation of such tumors are highly important to characterize tumors, their progression and to define a treatment plan. Along this line, automatic and effective segmentation of tumors and healthy eye anatomy would be of great value. This talk will present some recent methods of eye structures (including tumors) information extraction in 3D MRI.
